The GS-13 salary range starts at:
Washington, DC - $103,690
Boise, ID - $92,143
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.

Responsibilities
- Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of Fleet Management program(s).
- Reviews, evaluates, monitors and provides recommendations on program operations and the performance of fleet functional areas against objectives and policies.
- Plans, manages, and coordinates the implementation of new guidelines practices, and initiatives.
- Develops zonal /nationwide guidelines for specific program areas.
- Plans, organizes, reviews projects and assignments, and ensures that management practices are integrated and consistent with pertinent regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Plans, executes and coordinates a variety of projects and serves as a representative/technical program expert on special and/or standing committees. Advocates for specific Fleet projects.
- Maintains contact with stakeholders to assure the satisfactory operation of Fleet program(s) and to resolve technical problems.
- Provides guidance and technical insight on project or program issues that may arise. Researches regulations to determine, isolate, and recommend areas requiring attention.
