Summary

This is an all office vacancy - there are openings across 2 offices. The positions are located in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR), Division of Resource Management and Administration (DRMA), Reactor Program Services Branch 1. The supervisor is Evan Davidson; and the Office of Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards (NMSS), Program Management, Policy Development and Analysis Staff (PMDA). The supervisor is Melissa Ralph.

Responsibilities

These positions are in the Bargaining Unit, are not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements, and are subject to the security ownership restriction reporting requirements. More than one selection may be made.

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be asked to perform analytical and evaluative work related to program operations, management and organizational efficiency, and productivity to support the accomplishment of the principal mission of the office you are selected for.

These duties require knowledge in:

The overall mission, function, and organization of the office and division.

Evaluative, planning, and analytical processes and techniques (quantitative and qualitative) for measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative programs to meet established goals and objectives.

Ability to identify issues and problems, determine relative priorities, develop definitive alternatives, and to focus quickly on possible solutions for management action. Ability to evaluate past programmatic accomplishments and help establish division program goals in the area of program completion and quality.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience in development and implementation of improvements in handling aspects of day-to-day division operations; perform analyses to identify and evaluate improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of division, office, and business line resource utilization; and development and provide oversight of activities in assigned areas such as budget execution and resource programming, fee estimates and fee billing.
