Configuration Management Analyst

We have a compelling opportunity for a Configuration Manager in support of a WMA customer site. This position requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph security clearance. Responsible for maintenance and continuous improvement of the process, working methods and tools, including configuration management of computer systems, networks and their configurations, workstations and their configuration, software development activity, performance tool development and distribution, and applications distribution. Configuration change tracking and documentation control to include, but not limited to concepts of operation, requirements identification and documentation, preliminary and detailed system definition, system design review, performance monitoring tools and production software. Ensure the CM process is introduced and implemented according to guidelines from the process owner. Keep the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) updated. Perform audits on the actual CMDB. Provides continuous coordination of progress on actions, tasking, and issues. Reviews and edits technical documentation, as requested. Serves as a corporate referent on technical writing and editing Required Qualifications Configuration management support to assigned projects Configuration management (CM) of developmental and operational systems Identification of configuration items, implementing change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits Working on teams to create and maintain software, hardware, and documentation configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.) Developing and updating CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to scope of the developmental or operational system Implementing CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life Regulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software, licenses, media, and other IT assets Ensuring all changes to the baselines go through appropriate change boards Tracking all problems and changes in product documents/software and reports changes, controls standard operating procedures and current configurations Using or recommending automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures Bachelor's degree Minimum 8 years of related experience TS/SCI w/ Polygraph Desired Qualifications Agile Development Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) Cloud Technologies Ability to work with large amount of data Experience with Microsoft Office Knowledge of Configuration Management tools including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins or equivalent Peraton drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy.
