This position is Contingent on government acceptance of candidate to fill existing need on active contract task order(s) Raytheon Technologies' Applied Signal Technology (AST) program is in need of SIGINT systems support staff with demonstrated experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) Missions. If you have the experience from current and/or recent commercial or military involvement, and are interested in continuing to support the Nation's security, this could be the dream job for you. Position Specific Summary:The selected candidate will support system integrations, deployments, and sustaining productionproducts. Primary work will be on middle tier development. On-Call required on a rotational basis. The candidate will be responsible for engineering activities to include system design, procurement, integration, test, deployment, and documentation. Required Skills/Experience: SIGINT experience and previous software system integration experienceOn-call support is requiredA background in telecommunicationsWorking knowledge of SDH signalsExperience with basic administration of Linux and Windows computer networksStrong communication skills to coordinate amongst team members, and provide status updates to team leadsAbility to provide technical details targeted to the audiences level of technical understandingDesired Skills: Experience with basic networking concepts are desired. Good Understanding (handle most mid-level tasking unassisted) of System Administration work in a LINUX environment. Working understanding (can handle many mid-level tasks with little guidance) of System Administration work in a WINDOWS environment. Troubleshooting & Correcting problem and making changes to overall infrastructure as needed. System MonitoringBe comfortable working with and creating scripts in Perl & PythonKnowledgeable of Nagios System Monitoring ToolKnowledgeable of logging products such as Graylog or logStash. Ability & willingness to learn new tools. Work independently on a given task but know when to ask for guidance early enough to not cause delays.
