Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group is seeking an IT/Application Technical Project Manager to direct work on two federal websites and multiple web applications as well as serve as a backup for the configuration and/or development of these systems. Currently, this position is 100% remote due to the pandemic. If you are interested in learning more about Sparks Group and the opportunity, please submit your resume today.

Responsibilities:
  • Track deadlines and deliverables across multiple workgroups
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly website meetings and weekly technical meetings
  • Prepare documentation for web sites and applications, including user stories and diagrams
  • Report to client leadership on workgroup information and project updates
  • Quality Assurance testing for web applications
  • Provide support to web designer(s) and programmers for the web applications, including migrating ColdFusion applications to a MURA content management system using bootstrapped code
  • Provide SQL database assistance and basic script creation, as needed
  • Provide programming and development support, as needed
  • Website quality assurance and analysis
  • Work with core team to collect, organize, edit, and produce written content for one of the websites.
  • Convert recorded webinars to YouTube using Adobe Connect Webinars

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Programming, or Information Technology field
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Knowledge and experience with: CMS platforms (MURA, a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience with: Issue Tracking and Version control (Subversion, a plus)
  • Proficient with Agile software development processes and tools
  • Experience with Information Technology projects (project management skills)
  • Front-end development experience with an eye for design and user interface/experience
  • Proficient in Section 508 accessibility rules and guidelines
