**This position can be performed currently from a remote location in the U.S. but will require presence in a Freddie Mac office in the future.**

Freddie Mac's (FM) Operational Risk Management (ORM) team is an independent second line of defense function responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of an effective operational risk management framework in line with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Federal Housing Finance Agency ("FHFA") expectations.

A key driver of FM's risk maturity strategy, ERM has a heightened focus on technology and data to advance our practices. The Risk Technology Office team has a front seat to design, develop, and deploy strategic solutions that drive effectiveness and efficiencies across all 3LODs.

Your Impact:
  • Collaborate with partners to align business needs with implementation of our GRC (BWise) technology solution
  • Develop, test, and deploy BWise and other technology solutions in support of product roadmap
  • Serve as additional support for the day-to-day operations of application
  • Proactively identify solutions, issues, and recommendations
  • Build positive relationships with partners across the business area, IT, and Vendor to align and coordinate risk technology activities across the Enterprise
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of related work experience in application development
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, and risk management applications is preferred
  • BWise, SQL and Agile experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present content of varying levels of complexity
  • Highly driven, results oriented, and looked at as a "valued partner"
  • Experience with developing GRC application reporting solutions is a plus

  • Prior experience using a governance, risk and/or Compliance GRC system

  • Ability to work well under pressure
