Position Overview:
The Enterprise Commercial Real Estate Credit Risk Oversight (CRE-CRO) Senior Director is currently seeking a Director who will be part of the CRE-CRO team responsible for reviewing and oversighting a wide range of underwriting and asset management functions for a complex, rapidly growing multifamily loan portfolio. Impact:
The team performs ongoing risk analysis for our multifamily portfolio, ensuring timely risk detection and appropriate monitoring, and provides feedback to senior management for decision process improvements. The team prepares post-purchase credit recommendations and valuations to ensure credit quality of portfolio and accurate assessment of portfolio risk.

The Director receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Works independently on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Acts as an advisor to team members to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Follows established directions and works under minimal supervision.

Qualifications:
• Prepare post-purchase credit recommendations and valuations to ensure credit quality of portfolio and accurate assessment of portfolio risk.
• Perform ongoing risk analysis for our multifamily portfolio, ensuring timely risk detection and appropriate monitoring, and provides feedback to senior management for decision process improvements.
• Research potential portfolio risk areas and make recommendations to the Enterprise Risk Officer (ERO) and Senior Director for future sample loan reviews and make staff assignments.
• Preparation of ad hoc risk assessments including presentation to senior management.
• 12+ years directly related experience in multifamily underwriting and/or credit policy
• 4+ years management experience.
• Experience working in the multifamily mortgage industry or financial institutions.
• Ability to understand credit issues and aggregate information.
• Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to relationship.
• Ability to work independently within an established review process, ability to prioritize tasks, capable of handling multiple tasks at once to meet timelines.
• Clear, concise business writing skills.
Effective and well-organized verbal and written presentation skills.
• BA/BS Degree in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance or equivalent experience. Advanced studies/degree preferred
