Database Manager - TS/SCI Required Position Description CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Database Manager for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community. Functional Role: Database Manager Duties: Designs, develops, tests, and delivers database systems and manages the life cycle support. Applies patches and upgrades, diagnoses and resolves problems, monitors and improves performance. Responsible for the migration of data from legacy systems to modern systems and designs and manages backup and recovery processes and continuity of operations plans. Selects appropriate database technologies for specific requirements, such as online transaction processing systems (OLTP), decision support systems (DSS), data warehouses, object-oriented or other non-relational data stores, real-time systems, and mass storage systems. Leads the acquisition of data, coordinates data flow, and promotes data quality. Degree: Bachelors Experience: 15-20+ years experience in enterprise-level application rollouts through the development of database solutions and corresponding architectures that reflect an understanding of the industry, business goals, business systems, and information technology. Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, CompTIA Server+.
