AWS Cloud Architect Position Description CGI Federal is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community. Various levels are outlined below. Functional Role: AWS Cloud Architect - Senior Duties: Supports AWS Cloud Architect SME in efforts to design, deploy, and secure, a cloud-based transition MIDB database on JWICS, along with solutions and services to support mission critical operations. Collaborates with the development, data analysis, database administrators and quality teams to improve the continuous integration and delivery processes through automation, tools, and processes. Provide support to cross-functional agile teams with the evaluation and implementation of the process changes and tools to be utilized. Develops and supports automation infrastructure, tools, and processes. Collaborate with teams to create and evolve policies, best practices, and frameworks for distributed system automation needs. Develops scripts to automate configuration state and deployments. Degree: Bachelors Experience: 5+ years experience in the integration of DevSecOps pipeline components (a code repository, an artifact repository, source code analyzer, security scanning, testing tools and an orchestrated integration and delivery platform) to enable automated application building, testing, securing and deployment. Functional Role: AWS Cloud Architect - SME Duties: Builds and maintains an cloud infrastructure architecture aligning security, compliance, performance and resilience. Provides expertise and best practices for implementing cloud security (internal) and product security (external). Assess architectures and designs for security vulnerabilities and suggests and implements proper alternatives. Leads the strategic and tactical planning for migrating to the cloud and refactoring applications to leverage cloud capabilities, services, and resources. Supports efforts to design, deploy, and secure, a cloud-based transition MIDB database on JWICS, along with solutions and services to support mission critical operations. Recommends tools and capabilities based on the current environment and knowledge of various on premise, cloud based, and hybrid resources. Develops business rules that will be implemented in the services layer. Degree: Bachelors Experience: 10+ years experience in the integration of DevSecOps pipeline components (a code repository, an artifact repository, source code analyzer, security scanning, testing tools and an orchestrated integration and delivery platform) to enable automated application building, testing, securing and deployment. Haddop-certified Big Data Engineer.
