Job Summary/Company:

A preferred Sparks Group partner is seeking a Part-Time Instructional Designer with a broad range of functional ISD and technical LMS consulting skills. In this role, the candidate will participate in the Testing Protocol SOP for the company's online courses for all curriculum areas:

  • Coordinate with IS Learning Technology Course Manager as required for context
  • Coordinate with third-party vendor and internal content development SMEs regarding the planning and timeline for course development, testing, and development phases
  • Upload, test, and launch courses and coordinate communications with the internal client POCs
  • Troubleshoot, document, and resolve any functional and/or technical issues that occur during testing/after launch
  • Create and configure Learning Plans and dynamic and/or static groups to deliver custom courses as agreed with the internal client POCs
  • Attend regularly scheduled calls for specific curriculum areas (e.g., Ethics and Compliance)

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Systems Design, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline
  • Proven hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning content for enterprise-level clients
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in scoping, designing, and delivering a range of custom learning solutions via an LMS; management consulting; change management, and customer support
  • Proven experience in business transformation and/or technology adoption efforts
  • Working knowledge of Workday HCM and a learner experience platform (LXP) such as Degreed (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Due to government requirement, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
