Associates either partner with our senior sales leaders to pursue new business relationships with health care executives within their suite of products and territory or they partner with senior service delivery leaders to deliver 5-star service to current clients so that we maintain long-term partnerships. Teamwork is central to our success, and as a result associates are positioned to develop working relationships with colleagues across other divisions within the Advisory Board, including Product Delivery, Marketing, Operations and Research. This allows associates to grow health care knowledge and professional skillsets while getting exposure to potential future career opportunities. Associates can also participate in the Early Careers Initiative (ECI), a program that helps early careerists SPARK growth in a set of well-rounded transferable skills, BUILD connections and relationships across the business, and ACCELERATE development and business impact through hands-on, meaningful work. Based on interview feedback and business need, your primary responsibilities will fall into either the Client Service or Sales Support category as listed below. This position is based in Washington, DC and is part of the Advisory Board, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. Primary Responsibilities: Client Service Coordinate exceptional client interactions and meetings in support of senior client service leaders Serve as the first point of contact for client requests and respond to inquiries in timely and efficient manner. Examples of requests include setting up client trainings on resources available through portfolio, providing access to research publications and website, and facilitating introductions to research staff Ensure a seamless new client onboarding process Produce detailed reports analyzing client utilization of products and services Sales Support Utilize cross-department relationships, research content, and market feedback to identify potential clients and develop an outreach strategy Follow up with and engage prospective clients by phone and email Schedule in-person and virtual interactions between health care executives and our senior sales executives. Weekly and monthly sales goals are based on the number of interactions scheduled and the amount of sales pipeline they generate Track efficacy of marketing/sales strategies and make recommendations for adjustment Maintain Salesforce data integrity to track key performance metrics and client interactions You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (ie, entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe.
