Job Description:Bring your experience and skills to Raytheon Intelligence & Space. Our team is attentive on providing Operations, Maintenance and Engineering (OM&E) support to our proprietary customer and their systems. The effective candidate will serve as an Operations Manager (OM) for the Program's East Coast Site. This leadership position will report to the East Coast Operations Lead and work collaboratively with other site Operations and Engineering managers. The position will have customer mission responsibilities overseeing a portion of the multi-contractor East Coast Site Operations Branch scope, as well as Raytheon Technologies personnel management responsibilities for up to 25 personnel (including team leads as needed) who will primarily be performing work that overlaps the assigned mission scope. Areas of responsibility include command and control and mission planning (C2MP), systems engineering, and systems integration. Work involves frequent interfacing with customers and teammates. The OM is responsible for the staffing, training, certification, of all assigned engineers, career development and retention for assigned Raytheon staff, and is required to be on call 24X7 to respond to and manage resolution of mission operations anomalies. The OM will work closely with the leadership, development factory personnel and various managers/leads across sites to encourage the team to meet daily operational requirements and long-term site, customer and program goals.The OM will be responsible for developing creative approaches to efficiently and effectively implement and sustain mission operations while simultaneously managing and validating technical change to advance new mission capabilities. The OM is responsible for ensuring their assigned mission area is prepared to accept responsibilities for new capabilities to include training of new personnel, development of engineering and maintenance procedures, and creation of automation products to efficiently perform daily tasks. The OM will be responsible for managing special projects, engineering activities, and mission area risks and opportunities.The OM will have assigned program financial CLIN management responsibilities and be expected to both lead and support miscellaneous program taskers as well as ROM, ECP and white paper development efforts. The position will also have staffing and customer interface responsibility for the entire assigned operations mission scope, including coordination with teammate contractor managers for areas of responsibility supported by subcontractors. In addition, this position will be required to closely coordinate with counterpart managers at other DE II sites for assigned mission/projects that span multiple sites, in either a primary or backup responsibility role, as determined by program management.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Required Skills: A cents € cents Prior lead, supervisor and/or management experience.
