MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSets up new loans in FICS Mortgage Servicer, validates the new loan information and updates all systems accordingly.Performs escrow analysis on mortgage accounts to determine whether the balance is adequate and adjusts the payment to meet estimated future expenses. Processes disbursements from escrows accounts and payments of property taxes, hazard insurance, flood insurance and/or mortgage insurance, and ensures that all of the information set up with CoreLogic is up to date.Ensures that adequate hazard and flood insurance coverage is maintained and monitors claims paid on flood and hazard insurance policies.Manages the daily payments processing within FICS and Spectrum interface programs. Reviews all reports generated by the program to ensure the mortgage general ledger accounts balance and maintains a zero balance daily.Ensures timely and accurate investor reporting; researches and resolves loan level edits/exceptions, and monitors to ensure exceptions have cleared. Responsible for servicing released loans sales, balancing the sale, ensuring reporting and remitting requirements are adhered o. Processes ARM adjustments and generates notices to members, in accordance with the regulatory requirements. Ensures that the servicing of loans with MI comply with investors' and regulatory guidelines, and provides notifications to members and MI companies, and adjusts loans, as necessary.Processes loan payments, researches payment issues and discrepancies, and resolves reconcilement items.Ensures the accurate and timely closeout of paid off loans including the release of collateral upon satisfactory repayment.Prepares and distributes a variety of reports for use in the administration of the department and loan portfolio.Responds to members' inquires about their mortgage loan in a timely manner and provides the highest level of member service.Interacts closely with staff, members and vendors to achieve service goals and member satisfaction.Assists the mortgage operations staff, branch personnel, NCC (National Call Center) and members with questions and support, as needed. Processes third party subordination requests. . Requirements: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Must have a minimum of three (3) years mortgage loan servicing experience. Must be familiar with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan servicing guidelines, and CFPB mortgage servicing regulations. Must possess a thorough understanding of loan servicing requirements, in order to adhere to compliance requirements and provide relevant information to the members, as needed. A Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent, College Preferred. QUALIFICATIONSCompetence with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills required.
