Program Manager, Kaiser Permanente Initiative, Business for a Better World (B4BW)

The George Mason University, School of Business, invites applications for a Program Manager, Kaiser Permanente Initiative, Business for a Better World. About the Position: The Program Manager will be responsible for working with leadership of B4BW and MAP Clinic to develop and execute a plan to achieve the project's objectives, develop and execute a set of metrics and a reporting system to track and report progress on the project, manage marketing and communications for the project, and handle administrative elements of the project.

This position is funded from external funding that is guaranteed until December 2022, and the position beyond that date is expressly contingent upon the continuation of such funding. This is a part-time position at 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities: The Program Manager has responsibilities in the following areas:

Program Deliverables: * Work in partnership with PIs to develop and implement a strategy to achieve project deliverables: * Create a virtual platform: Coordinate with partners to create a virtual platform to allow for uploading of resources, forms, hosting of BCC specific workshop and data visualization; * Offer series of conferences: Plan, coordinate and offer an inaugural conference to bring representatives of public-private-philanthropic partnerships together; * Offer Town Halls and Community Education sessions: Plan and coordinate virtual town halls, community education/information sessions, health care and coverage education and enrollment opportunities, and thought-leadership panels; * Collaborate with NoVA Community to build networks: Work within the Northern Virginia region to identify and recruit existing coalitions in the Bailey's Culmore Community to be a part of the collective work.

Program Management: * Coordinate PIs to ensure effective program implementation, operation, and outcomes to include a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; * Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals; * Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports; * Provide program updates and report to Co-PIs on a weekly basis.

Communications: * Develop and implement a strategy to foster relationships and strong communication among funder and all stakeholders including university faculty and staff, departments, and external community partners including healthcare entities to develop community engagement and recruitment activities.

Administrative Support: * Manage administrative elements of the project on a daily basis; * Execute special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; * Comfortable with technology and ability to adapt to different software and hardware; * Proficient in using MS Office software; * Ability to expertly organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy; * Ability to work independently, but also thrive in a team environment; * Ability to focus on formalizing and implementing a detailed administrative work-flow process.

Preferred Qualifications: * Master's degree preferred or equivalent education and experience; * Proficiency in Spanish; * Excellent organizational and time management skills.
