Job Announcement

Responds to records and information management and compliance-related inquiries from Fairfax County government agencies, utilizing superior analytical and communication skills to provide expert guidance and support; develops and delivers training and outreach to county government employees on various records and information management and compliance topics, tools, and procedures; contributes to the development, maintenance, and compliant use of the county's records and information governance program's policies, instruments/tools, applications, and procedures; supports implementation and user adoption of records and information management and compliance procedures and policies configured in enterprise IT applications.

Employment Standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following:

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or a field related to the department where the information technology services are being used; plus two years of experience analyzing business processes and/or developing/maintaining the main business system, technical platform or a related system.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The appointee to this position will be required to complete a criminal background check to the satisfaction of the employer.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience developing and implementing business classifications, appraising electronic records, and identifying and delivering improvements for business practices and records procedures; Experience supporting users with updates or changes in records and information management or compliance configurations in an enterprise-class content management system, such as SharePoint Online or OpenText Content Suite.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position required to be able to lift up to 30 pounds and occasional work on stair ladders up to 18 feet tall and be productive in a warehouse setting for regular but shorter periods of time. Ability to conduct sedentary work for multiple hours at a time, visual acuity is required to read data on computer monitor, incumbent must be able to operate keyboard driven equipment and tools. All duties performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
