Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist - Mid-Atlantic

This person will take ownership and develop a strong report with local leadership to determine, support, and execute business staffing needs.The Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody Hornblower's RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEM.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Establish recruiting requirements through the following:Studying organization plans and objectivesMeeting with key business leaders to discuss strategy and staffing needsCollaborating with Talent Acquisition team members to evaluate where support is neededAchieve staffing objectives by:Sourcing, recruiting and evaluating candidatesAdvising managers as the subject matter expert in recruitingManaging relocation and promotionsManage referral and intern programs in conjunction with HR leadersBuild applicant sources by:Researching and contacting community servicesCultivating relationships with universities, colleges, and local training programsManaging employment agencies and external recruitersWorking with media and internet sitesProviding organization information, opportunities, and benefits as well as making presentations; and maintaining rapport with all external partnersDetermine top candidates by:Comparing qualifications to job requirementsReviewing application questionsInterviewing and analyzing responsesEvaluating their understanding and application of THE RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEM through their experience and interviewImprove organization attractiveness by:Recommending new policies, practices, and toolsMonitoring job offers and compensation practicesEmphasizing benefits and perksCollaborating with leadership to implement process changesAvoid legal challenges by understanding current legislation and enforcing regulations with leadership and hiring managers.Coordinate with leadership and hiring managers to schedule additional interviews.Research and understand recruitment market trends and participate in continuing educational opportunities.Partner with Human Resources teams to seamlessly transition candidates into the onboarding process.Assist Human Resources and Marketing/Communications with misc. projectsAdditional job duties as assignedRequirements & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred2-5 yearsof exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environmentExperience managing multiple high-volume roles simultaneouslyAbility to embody THE RESPECT SERVICE SYSTEMAbility to listen, collaborate, and problem solve effectivelyand in a timely mannerAbility to influence leadership and hiring managers in a professional mannerStrong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of relevant laws and compliance standardsFamiliar with Continuous Improvement methodologiespreferredFamiliar with personal and organizational KPI systems and measurementspreferredComputer skills and a base knowledge of:Microsoft office products and web-based applicationsSkype, Zoom and other online meeting platformsApplicant tracking systems and external job boardsTHE RESPECT SYSTEM embodies HornblowerGroup's mission, vision, values and operating principles.
