The position will be located in Annapolis Junction, MD As a XKS SME, you will support a government Engineering Team. The primary role for this position is to provide system engineering support for developing, integrating, processing, maintaining, and monitoring XKS and associated systems. Daily responsibilities may include:Completing Genesis promotion capability in XKSDeveloping Genesis promotion fingerprints for email scanningDeveloping UTDF Genesis by reference taskingImplementing tasking for malware task in Genesis on GHOSTLIGHTDeveloping installation process of XKS in a VM hosting environment with optimal VM specsAssisting developers to integrate XKS with GHOSTLIGHT Sensor Software componentsConducting In-depth processing analysis of XKS-genesis process's and scanning. Perform comparative analysis of XKS-Genesis to YaraUnderstanding of Genesis EMAIL scanning processing, including specific EMAIL scanning capabilitiesGenerating and working with XKS development team with new requirements for Genesis scanning to meet GHOSTLIGHT sensor needs.Confirming XKS proper functionality, metrics outputsPerforming administration and maintenance functions on all GHOSTLIGHT lab and fielded systemsAssisting with installation and validation of XKS VMs.Supporting Agile development processes to accomplish spin goals, including participating in design meetings and technical review meetings; developing technical plans to guide capability development; preparing test plans and procedures; executing thread testing and writing test reports; reporting status of capability development activities; and reporting thread goals and resultsWorking with a team of Integrators, Testers, and Network Engineers to meet criteria for each SpinDeveloping technical documentation including technical management plans, requirements documents, test documents, deployment documents, and technical briefingsLiaising with customer to provide updates on progress of Spint goalsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and nine years of relevant experience or a high school diploma and thirteen years of relevant experience.Must have solid working knowledge of:Genesis promotion capability in XKSMust have the ability to develop Genesis promotion fingerprints for email scanningMust have the ability to develop UTDF Genesis by reference taskingImplement tasking for malware task in Genesis on GHOSTLIGHTDevelop installation process of XKS in a VM hosting environment with optimal VM specsAssist developers to integrate XKS with GHOSTLIGHT Sensor Software componentsIn-depth processing analysis of XKS-genesis process's and scanning.
