Job Description

The Washington Post programmatic team supports our growing off-site efforts with a full suite of product offerings. The Yield Manager role not only works as part of the WP+ team but is a team resource of exceptional campaign management and strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage execution of digital campaigns on Non-Owned and Operated properties
  • Utilize buying through a DSP or coordinate with outside platforms to execute campaigns
  • Ensure delivery and KPI performance of campaigns against first and third party delivery data
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues or reporting discrepancies between vendors
  • Work with the client services team to optimize campaigns
  • Traffic and execute client campaigns and optimize performance against client KPIs
  • Keep consistently aware of changes in inventory and anticipate potential campaign delivery issues.
  • Provide high-level updates and reporting to both clients and internal teams to improve campaign awareness and client retention.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ year experience in digital media and high-priority campaign management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization with proven ability to handle multiple priorities and frequently changing campaign needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills with both internal and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to convey conclusions from analytics and reporting to all levels of management.
  • Excellent customer service abilities with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with RTB buying through a DSP preferred.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager preferred
  • Experience placing and troubleshooting pixels preferred
  • Experienced with both Excel and PowerPoint. JIRA and GAM experience preferred.
