Job Details
Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Utility Aide who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
The Utility Aide Worker must:
• Have the ability to follow written instructions when using cleaning products. • Must be able to follow policies and procedures relating to food service, especially in the areas of sanitation.
• Sweep, mop and maintain floors in assigned areas in the nutrition services department; clean major pieces of equipment following a cleaning schedule; empty trash; wash walls, storage shelves, and maintain dock areas.
• Afternoon Cashiering
• Help with tray line set up and taking cart to the units.
• Collecting snack for units
• Provide food to students during school hours in hospital.
• Bring carts back from units, cleaning and setting
• Some dishwashing
Qualified candidates will possess:
• One (1) year of relevant hospital setting preferred
• Proficiency in English. Bilingual is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Food Handlers Certification helpful
• High School diploma or GED desired but not required

Work Schedule:
PM shift and every other weekend is required. Schedule posted in advance with Shift Differential pay.

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
