Responsibilities

  • Serves as subject-matter expert and the technical authority throughout the Agency on Strategic Level Customer Support.
  • Responsible for the formulation, coordination, implementation, and management of strategic communications in support of all DCMA-PI issuances.
  • Responsible for training and IT solutions ensuring compliance to issuance standards, requirements, processes, and procedures to include the deployment of products and services.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in support of policy, processes and training to enhance work product and workforce competency.
  • Provides support and insight into DCMA's strategic vision through supporting Portfolio Management and Business Integration (PM and BI) functionality.
  • Serves as the primary consultant and advisor to Headquarters, Agency's five Operational Unit Commands, Contract Management Offices, and Performance Advocates on Strategic Level Customer Support eTools, IWMS and agency-wide application issues.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Performance Advocate, your resume and supporting documentation must support:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in, or related to, this position. To qualify for the NH-04 level, specialized experience must be at the NH-03 or GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes:
  • Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods plus a thorough understanding of process and practices of Strategic Level Customer Support.
  • Experience assessing the impact of performance policies and directives on operational units.
  • Broad knowledge of policies and procedures of other functional areas, such as: DoD Acquisition Life Cycle, supply chain management, contract administration, production, quality assurance, property administration, software acquisition management, and engineering.


Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
