Responsibilities

Typical work assignments will include:
  • Develops policy guidance on a wide array of performance management program functions and requirements.
  • Plans, develops, and coordinates performance management program activities to assist USAO staff in carrying out their HR management responsibilities.
  • Coordinates performance management policies, plans and actions.
  • Provides management consultative service and advice on a wide array of performance management program policies and functions.
  • Planning and delivering expert HR advisory services and strategic program activities in support of the collective United States Attorneys Office (USAO) community.
  • Performing expert advisory services, short-and long-range program development and strategic planning activities in support of Executive Office of the United States Attorneys (EOUSA) senior leadership.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in Federal service performing the following types of duties: providing advisory services and technical guidance in regards to Federal performance management on complex issues, providing oversight of performance management policies and programs, and responding to performance management issues that require guidance and/or policy interpretation.

Interagency Career Transition Assistance Plan (ICTAP)- The ICTAP provides eligible displaced Federal competitive service employees with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies. If your agency has notified you in writing that you are a displaced employee eligible for ICTAP consideration, you may receive selection priority if: 1) this vacancy is within your ICTAP eligibility; 2) you apply under the instructions in the announcement; and 3) you are found well-qualified for this vacancy. -Required, if applicable: CTAP/ICTAP documentation (a copy of a separation notice or other proof of eligibility for priority selection; a copy of an SF-50, Notification of Personnel Action, showing current position, grade, promotion potential, and duty location; AND a copy of your most recent performance appraisal.
-Required, if applicable: VEOA documentation (your DD-214, Member Copy 4).
