Description INTRODUCTION + This position is set aside for a person with disability according to the Ability One government contract guidelines + Proof of disability is required prior to interviewing + This position is located in Falls Church, VA + This is a 30 hour per week position + Working hours during COVID are 12:30pm - 7:00pm, Monday through Friday + After COVID, working hours will be 3:30pm - 10:00pm, Monday through Friday + The rate of pay is $14.41 per hour + Pre-employment criminal background checks and drug screening are required. SUMMARY + Work closely with the supervisor, production staff and other company employees + This position which combines hands on as well as Supervisory skill sets to be used + Person hired will take directions from the lead Supervisor + Maintain the cleanliness of equipment + Sweep, dust, mop scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym + Clean, mop, scrub, polish, and disinfect all bathroom areas as needed + Maintain a sufficient supply of materials (ie towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms and assigned areas + Empty trash and garbage containers in the gym + Maintain safe, clean, and orderly floor areas + Observes equipment for potential safety hazards. SPECIFIC DUTIES: + Ensure all guest toilets are clean and smell fresh + Ensure all showers are clean and smell fresh + All toilets and Health Club facilities to be fully stocked with towels, toilet paper and toiletries + Ensure all guest changing rooms are clean and smell fresh, lockers clean and closed + Ensure that towel baskets are emptied regularly + Ensure all equipment are cleaned and sanitized + Ensure bins are empty + Empty trash cans on the patio deck + Ensure Studio is mopped and all mirrors are clean + Dust and wipe walls, doors, and table tops, walls to be kept mark free, all doors to be washed down as necessary + To follow and complete Health Club Public area cleaning daily check lists + To act upon guest requests and special requirements where necessary + Clean guard shacks on a daily basis QUALIFICATIONS + Minimum of a High school education or equivalent preferred + 6 months of relevant work experience preferred + Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions + Service oriented and ability to multitask + Basic English verbal communication skills + Able to lift, pull, push, grasp and bend while lifting up to 50 pounds + Be able to perform repetitive motions for an extended duration of time are required Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
