This includes, but is not limited to Recruiting and Talent Acquisition, Benefits Administration and Negotiation, Performance Management, Professional Development and Training, Employee Relations, and Staff Engagement and Retention. This position is a partner in driving a healthy, inclusive, and positive work culture.A' Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Champion US Lacrosse Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts across all teams to educate, promote awareness, and ensure an inclusive work environment.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all local, state and federal laws and regulations as they relate to employment matters.Annually review and make recommendations to executive management for improvement of USA Lacrosse policies, procedures, and practices on all employment matters; help educate staff on changes in USA Lacrosse's employment policies and procedures to ensure proper compliance is followed.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of state and federal EEOC and related laws and regulations regarding hiring practices; ensure the hiring process and hiring managers comply with all employment laws and regulations.Review new positions in anticipation of recruitment to ensure appropriate classification; modify and create job descriptions that accurately reflect current roles, responsibilities, and requirements, and completes career pathways.Partner with hiring managers and interview teams throughout the hiring process, providing excellent customer service at every step; analyze results and look for ways to evolve and improve USA Lacrosse recruiting efforts.Ensure hiring, promotions and job changes are in line with USA Lacrosse policy, philosophy, and commitment to diversity and equality. Design and manage the organization's compensation program; assist executive management in the annual review, preparation, and administration of employee compensation; help educate supervisors and employees on compensation program Design and manage onboarding and offboarding processes; analyze results and look for ways to evolve and improve the overall employee experience. Create learning and development programs to prepare employees for more significant responsibilities and to support leaders in managing their teams well Develop and manage annual human resources department budget and departmental metrics.Develop and maintain a human resource information system (HRIS) that meets organizational employment information needsAssist in a variety of department and companywide projects, including workforce planning for recurring and complex openings where talent gaps exist, employee surveys and engagement studies, change management, diversity projects, and job enrichment and teambuilding activities.Act as a role model within and outside the organization. QualificationsRequired Skills, Education and Experience: 5 to 10 years related human resource management experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills including, superb communication, action-orientation, and proven consultancy skills (analysis, problem-solving, and facilitation).Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written formAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general publicAbility to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 applications and a HRIS Expected Hours of WorkThis position is generally expected to work 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday and occasionally requires longer hours or weekend work as related to events and other business needs.TravelTravel during the business day is occasional and primarily local to the greater Baltimore area, although infrequent out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.Lacrosse ExperienceLacrosse experience is not required for this position.Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
