Contributes to the completion of major engineering programs and may function in a project leadership role. The Senior Exchange Engineer provides support, implementation, and design services for an on premise Microsoft Exchange deployment. We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record designing and deploying Exchange in a large enterprise. Training or experience interacting with or configuring Azure Stack Hub would be highly desirable. Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who exceeds as an individual, as well as, excels among peers in a team environment.Perform regular checks and conduct troubleshooting as necessary on Exchange serversReview Exchange logs on a regular basis to ensure system health and pro-actively identify errorsConduct regular maintenance across Exchange servers to include patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring and improvementDevelop and maintain high availability and disaster recovery scenarios for Exchange servers and functionalityAbility to work with little supervision in high stress / high visibility environments with time sensitive requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to take direction and retain informationApplies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of the complex system requirements and problems.
