As a web developer, you'll be responsible for building full-stack tools and dashboards that communicate analytic findings, tell stories with data, or allow users to interact with data models and algorithms. You'll join a group of experienced developers who strive to bring cutting-edge commercial best practices in web design and development to our clients. No two projects will be the same, with potential challenges that include building a UI so that users can adjust optimization model parameters, communicating captivating data stories by animating elements on scroll, constructing interactive charts and maps that give clients the ability to dive deep in their data, and creating APIs that allow a UI to communicate with a back-end database and model. You Have:Experience as a web developer using HTML, JavaScript, and CSSExperience with one or more modern JS frameworks, including Angular, React, Vue, or Svelte Experience with responsive web design Experience with JS visualization libraries, including D3, Highcharts, or LeafletExperience with PythonAbility to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAbility to obtain a security clearanceBA or BS degree Nice If You Have:Experience with creating RESTful web services using APIs Experience with creating and modifying web servers and databases Experience with working in an Agile environment Experience with DevOps tools Experience with AWS or Azure Experience with a design tool, including Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma Knowledge of ES6, Webpack, and Typescript Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance Knowledge of one or more of the following: Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Knowledge of core Data Science concepts, including Machine Learning and Statistics Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
