Due to growth and a maternity leave, they are looking to bring on a temporary senior accountantThis position will start on a temporary basis. For the right candidate, the position can become permanent.Pay: $33-37 per hour depending on experienceHours: 9-5 M-F. Hours are flexible!Position is 100% in office in Towson, MD. This position will not be remote.This position will begin immediately after an interviewDay to day tasks include posting journal entries, month end close, financial planning and forecasting, assisting with budgets, and moreReports directly to the ControllerIdeal Candidate for this position:Must be extremely detail oriented and able to meet deadlinesStrong, professional, written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently and with a team and can take ownership for their workAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, diverse, and changing environmentTech savvy and willing and able to learn multiple systemsAble to handle a high volume of work in a fast pace environmentQualifications for the Senior Accountant:Public Accounting experience required (not tax)3-5 years of accounting experience including FP&ABachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related required.
