Performs month-end closing processes. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, and revenues. Essential Functions: Month-end close for multiple divisions: Record journal entries including accruals, amortization of prepaids and depreciation expense Reconcile all balance sheet accounts; research and resolve discrepancies Account for inventory and work in process accounts, ensuring accurate product costs Reconcile intercompany accounts Maintain monthly financials Reconcile cash accounts daily and maintain 13-week cash forecast model. Assist with processing of weekly payment run and serve as backup for bank portal input. Add new vendors to ERP and banking portal and run compliance check. Code vendor invoices to ensure accurate accounting treatment for multiple divisions Serve as back up for Corporate Card Program Administrator Prepare monthly workers compensation and health insurance reports Processing of credit insurance reporting Other projects and duties as assigned Job Requirements and Skill Sets: Bachelor's degree in accounting Public accounting experience or CPA preferred. At least 3 years of accounting experience: manufacturing experience is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel skills Experience with enterprise level general ledger and order to cash management software; exposure to Infor Syteline ERP (Cloud Suite Industrial) system a plus High level of confidentiality Requires high level of initiative; ability to work independently and within teams Working Conditions/Environment: Work is performed in an office environment, Able to sit, stand, walk, bend and stoop. Able to lift, pull, push and carry up to 25 lbs. Manual dexterity required for operation of a computer keyboard. Vision and a sense of hearing are also required.
