This requisition is an advertisement for multiple opportunities within our Tech organization.A' By applying to this particular role, you'll also be considered for other roles within Capital One's Engineering Organization.What You'll Do:Develop iOS or Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principlesPartner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences that are engaging, purposeful and powerful in their simplicityActively participate in all team agile ceremonies, contributing to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest qualityBe an active advocate of the mobile platform through both internal and external developer communitiesRemain an active learner in all technologies related to mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, 3rd party libraries, etc.)Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback/communication from the broader teamMentor junior to mid-level members of the teamActively engage with developers outside of the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.)Own and lead delivery of major components and platform needs in partnership with senior engineers and ArchitectsConsistently share best practices and improve processes within and across sprint teamsIdentify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutionsReview pull requests and ensure adherence to Swift and/or Kotlin, and other language idiomsGrow and provide SME level leadershipBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 5 years of experience in software engineeringAt least 4 years of professional experience building Android or iOS applicationsAt least 3 years of experience with Kotlin or SwiftAt least 2 years of people management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree6+ years of experience in software engineering6+ years of professional experience building Android or iOS applications4+ years of experience with Kotlin or Swift3+ years of experience building cloud-native mobile applications5+ years of people management experience2+ years of experience with Agile practices2 or more shipped mobile applicationsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
