And our work depends on TS/SCI level cleared Systems Engineer joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.You will work closely with the management team, technical leads, product owners and government stakeholders. You will be expected to innovate and contribute new ideas, maintain the highest level of quality and increase team velocity by predicting potential issues and solving unpredictable issues.A' Description: Review and provide technical advice on technical documentation submissions for systems development optimizationProvide engineering and technical support and advisement regarding problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.Provide assessments and recommendations on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.Perform risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.Support the identification, tracking, and resolution of systems engineering issues related to technical interfaces, technology insertion/design improvements, and other program initiatives.Prepare technical presentations, briefings, and papers to address program management issues in such venues as technical design reviews, technical review boards, and others.Identify technical issues that need resolution.Work with applicable Government team leads to facilitate the resolution of technical issues.Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for identified cost, schedule, and technical issues.Provide weekly reports on significant issues and actions.Support transition of developmental efforts into production, and assist with the technical activities.Conduct assessments and make recommendations for design, testing, and documentation utilizing full knowledge of all phases of application, analysis, and programming and research analysis techniques.Provide engineering solutions in support of continued operational sustainmentA' Requirements: A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI PolyEffective oral, written communication skills and customer focused.Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), GitLab, GitLab Runner, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Linux, Jira, ConfluenceScheduled Weekly Hours:40Travel Required:NoneTelecommuting Options:Telecommuting Not AllowedWork Location:USA VA SpringfieldAdditional Work Locations:USA MO St. LouisWe are GDIT.
