You will evaluate customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Working with the program team you will perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.A' You will support analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, system security, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.Primary Responsibilities:A' Lead requirements management, development, analyses, decomposition, allocation, testing, validation and verification as well as systems architecture, model based systems engineering, and CONOPS development.A' Partner with subject matter experts and technology experts in understanding technology development and integration into current state and future goals for increased functionality, performance, testability, verification and validationLead and support the definition of functional architecture and modeling needs and coordinate efforts across teams to meet deliverables and program milestonesInterface with customers and program management/leadership for systems engineering and integration and test teamParticipate in all aspects of systems engineering for current and future phases of program with design, qualification, and eventually production (womb to tomb).Follow and Implement best practices throughout all facts of systems engineering and integration and test understanding intent and need to ensure successful product development and productionActively participate in mentoringA' program forA' systems engineers to instill cross functional skills inA' systems engineering, integration, and test in junior engineersThis position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final US TS/SCI clearance post start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):A' 3+ years experience in Systems Engineering roleExperience in Requirements Management including derivation / decomposition as well as traceabilityExperience in Risk Management Systems, process application, and risk managementKnowledge of Trade Study processes and formatPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):A' Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) ProcessExperience with Integration and Testing processKnowledge of system architecture and modeling toolsTypical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (eg Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
