This includes implementing IT Service Management, standing up and operating a service desk, and providing end user support.The Active Directory Engineer provides support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and identity management solutions.A' We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record designing and deploying Active Directory in a large enterprise. Additionally, the position will require an individual experienced in system design and integration, identity life-cycle management, and process automation and improvement. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who exceeds as an individual, as well as, excels among peers in a team environment.Minimum Education Required:BA/BS degreeAllowable Substitution: Six (6) years of related experience or four (4) years of related experience with an AA/AS degreeMinimum Experience Required:8+ years designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise Active Directory environmentExperience working with Active Directory in a DMZ environment, (IPSEC, PKI, Windows OS Firewall, etc.)Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture; Virtualization Technologies (eg VMware, Hyper-V) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologiesExperience working in large scale enterprise environments with an understanding of ITIL process and functionsKnowledge of PowerShell and AD utilities involving LDAPExpert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFSWorking knowledge of Windows Server 2008, Server 2012, & Server 2016. PowerShell scriptingHands on experience hands-on experience working with multiple domains and forests, cross-domain and cross forest authenticationKnowledge of Azure AD with SAML integration of applications with Azure ADDeep and thorough understanding of monitoring best practices, preferably with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM) understanding and experienceExperience with server patching and ability to troubleshoot issues related to patchingAbility to work with little supervision in high stress / high visibility environments with time sensitive requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A' Ability to take direction and retain informationApplies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of the complex system requirements and problems.
