This includes a solid understanding of financial statement review and analysis. location: Baltimore, Marylandjob type: Permanentsalary: $80,000 - 90,000 per yearwork hours: 8 to 5education: Bachelor's degreeexperience: 3 Years responsibilities:Duties and Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement. Coordinate with external fund administration firm to ensure compliance with accounting standards.Assist internal and external auditors with financial information requests and supporting documentation.Prepare quarterly reports on investment performance.Track portfolio company performance and key disbursement, repayment and reporting dates as laid out in each loan and investment agreement. Build and manage financial models to support analysis of impact investment opportunities under consideration, including small-and-medium enterprises and investment companies.Draft investment memoranda and support transaction negotiation and execution for impact investing opportunities.Continuously improve and refine internal tools and processes, including financial models, due diligence checklists, and resources for opportunity identification. qualifications:Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required.Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, accounting, audit, impact investing, or institutional investing.CPA or CFA qualification will be a significant advantage.Oracle (Finance ERP) and QuickBooks strongly preferred.Exceptionally strong analytical and organizational skills; quantitative modeling expertise preferably acquired at a recognized firm.In-depth understanding of financial accounting principles.Exceptional writer with expert command of English grammar.Team player with a positive attitude who can work independently while also being highly collaborative and open.Excellent attention to detail, adherence to deadlines and consideration of follow-through.
