Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with a Fortune 500 company is searching for a skilled Subcontracts Specialist. The Specialist will be responsible for drafting, and processing agreements for federal contracts. They will demonstrate knowledge of the FAR, negotiate pricing and terms/conditions and review contract terms to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with managers to provide cradle-to-grave subcontract support primarily under federal government contracts
  • Own the process of drafting, negotiating, and processing Non-Disclosure agreements (NDA) and Teaming agreements (TA) for prime contracts
  • Provide support to Proposal and Program teams for developing Agreement language
  • Utilize knowledge of federal contracting and procurement cycle to the NDA and TA process
  • Identify and resolve complex issues on assigned subcontracts and makes recommendations to management
  • Analyze risks and identifies risk mitigation; performs subcontract close-out activities.
  • Negotiate modifications to subcontracts; provides proposal development and sourcing support
  • Acts as primary interface between subcontractors and for all subcontracts related issues

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • 1-2+ years of subcontract administration experience with federal agencies
  • Experience or knowledge of Salesforce highly desired
  • Prior experience working with a DCMA approved purchasing system
  • Knowledge and familiarity with federal contracting regulations and policies; understanding of FAR/DFAR
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills to develop and interpret complex reports, and related documentations
  • Detail and Process oriented; ability to build and foster successful working relationships
  • Ability to handled multiple ongoing projects and prioritize based on current need
