• Employment advertising and recruiting for Office and Field Positions

• Review resumes for open positions, sort candidates based on qualifications and forward to Department Managers.

• Conduct Phone Interviews

• Conduct Background Checks and Drug Screening on potential employees.

• Coordinate the on-boarding process with Managers of other Dept.'s.

• Conduct new hire orientations for field and office (Bi-lingual a plus).

• Assemble orientation materials for new employees including new hire paperwork and benefit explanations. Follow up to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and returned.

• Coordinate Trucks, tools etc. for field employees

• Be responsible for setting up office space for new office employees work stations (Includes cleaning, coordinating phone and computer set-up)

• Update company phone listing

• Maintain electronic and paper personnel files

• Coordinate the off-boarding process, including completing payroll forms, receipt of company property, COBRA forms and employee letters.

• Handle all Workers Compensation Reports and follow-up on all claims with insurance company. Coordinate with Nurse Case worker on employee's progress and getting employee back to work.

• File all Short Term and Long Term Disability claims for employees. Track insurance payments while employee is disabled.

• Responsible for uploading and maintaining employee information on all health, dental and vision insurance and 401K websites.

• Assist with Insurance Open Enrollment process on a yearly basis

• Complete Unemployment Requests

• Complete mortgage requests for employees

• Assist H.R. Manager as needed in all aspects of Human Resources and other roles


• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.

• Maintain security of highly confidential information.

• Great attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines in a fast paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Previous clerical work in Human Resources a plus but not required

• High school education

• Previous clerical background in HR

• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

• Must be able to type at least 40 wpm

• Bilingual a plus
