This Region originates $15B+ of multifamily acquisition and refinance loans annually across 12 states and the District of Columbia. **This position can be performed currently from a remote location in the U.S. but will require presence in a Freddie Mac office in the future.**

Our Impact:
  • Our team is responsible for screening, sizing, structuring, and quoting loans to facilitate the acquisition and refinance of multifamily assets in the Southeastern US.
  • We are primary relationship managers for our partners in Freddie Mac's lender network, making sure they are always up to speed on our current best practices, products, and policies.
  • Understanding the story behind each deal to structure creative executions is key.

Your Impact:
  • Review quote submission packages and property level cash flows. Performing a cursory underwriting to assist with sizing new loan requests.
  • Collaborate with internal partners in Freddie Mac's Credit and Capital Markets groups to mitigate potential credit risks and price loans competitively.
  • Cultivate relationships with our customers in the lender network, traveling domestically to meet with customers and tour multifamily assets.
  • Develop creative solutions for deal level problems as they arise, finding outcomes that are beneficial for our customers while protecting the interests of Freddie Mac.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 1 to 3+ years of related work experience in the real estate industry.
  • Knowledge of real estate property fundamentals and real estate lending/underwriting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to travel domestically post Covid.
