Summary

The Senior Training Analyst will develop deployment and training plans, presentations, and other materials needed to ensure the effective system deployment and overseeing training, classes and "how to" documents for various audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Manage training operations for Army Human Resource Systems (AHRS) Accessions Information Environment (AIE)
  • Consolidate training documentation between AIE Solution Provider and AHRS Functional Team
  • Ensure timely delivery of training materials for the Function Team
  • Facilitate weekly Training Working Group meetings to adjudicate critical and substantive training documentation comments, discuss training schedules, and other related training information
  • Advise Army leadership of policy and requirements implementation per Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 5000.75, Business Systems Requirements, and Acquisition
  • Track all Functional Team and Solution Provider Action Items/Requests for Information (AIs/RFIs) by holding weekly meetings to ensure items are complete and approved for closure
  • Facilitate completion of Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs) and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) lifecycle documentation between AIE and data exchange partners for completeness and route for leadership signatures
  • Oversee software deployment and training process
  • Develop an integrated plan for capability training and deployment, including processes, metrics, data requirements, and schedules
  • Provide analysis of software issues
  • Perform training management, development, and delivery
  • Manage the development of training plans, presentations and other materials needed to support both classroom and other training
  • Perform Maintenance Contract Management
  • Ensure all hardware and software of the data center is maintained
  • Ensure Period of Performance (PoP) does not lapse and brings concerns to government POC
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and other Army approved software applications
  • Implement training and deployment within the Agile Methodology
  • Assist as a property control alternate
  • Assist the property manager with logistic duties and monthly equipment turn-in processing
  • Assist with coordinating and tracking incoming and outgoing equipment in MS SharePoint
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required or 4+ years of experience may be used in lieu of degree
  • 8+ years of training management, deployment, development, and delivery experience required
  • 8+ years using Outlook and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access), including Project, Adobe Acrobat, and other Army approved software applications
  • Experience in developing training plans, presentations, and other materials needed to support both classroom and other training activities
  • Hands on experience in developing training newsletters and other "how to" training documents for a wide range of user proficiency levels
  • Experience utilizing Agile Methodology
  • Possess and maintain a valid state operator's license
  • Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong communication skills, including written and oral, strong customer service, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to listen and understand what is being described by the end user as well as the ability to explain problem resolutions when necessary
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance
  • Ability to occasionally work after hours and/or as on-call support
