Westat's research, technical, and administrative staff of more than 2,000 is located at our headquarters in Rockville, Maryland, near Washington, DC.

Westat is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join the fast-paced growing corporate contracts unit to oversee a diverse portfolio of Westat's federally funded contracts. You will support the full life-cycle of contract management activities and lead a team of contracts staff.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee a portfolio of contracts funded by civilian agencies.
• Lead a team of Contract Administrators and Specialists.
• Review and negotiate all types of agreements, including but not limited to NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Contracts, and Subcontracts.
• Provide contractual and business guidance to Westat's research staff.
• Collaborate and provide support to various internal departments including: Accounting, Business Development, Finance and Legal.
• Perform risk-assessments and compliance reviews in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Perform pre-award reviews of RFPs and contractual documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and solicitation requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of progressive experience in a Federal Government contracting and contract management environment, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Experience reviewing and negotiating various types of agreements.
• Knowledge of standard government contract compliance reviews and audits.
• Familiarity working with enterprise accounting and reporting software.

Preferred Qualifications:
• A Master's degree in business, law or contract related discipline.
• Experience working with the civilian agencies including U.S. Department of Education.
• Familiarity with GSA schedules and Best-In-Class contracting vehicles.
• Experience with Deltek products including Costpoint, Contracts and Purchasing Modules.
