Working as a part of the Emerging Businesses team, the Corporate Development Senior Analyst evaluates new business opportunities that further the company's strategic growth objectives.
  • Assist in the development of in-depth market sizing data for new ventures, providing both short-term and long-term market analysis, and identification of fundamental economic drivers to ensure the best business outcomes.
  • Create financial analyses in the development of business plans, with financial analysis including, but not limited to, business economics, valuation of potential targets, deal structure and sensitivity analysis.
  • Assist in the evaluation of early-stage companies to assess investment potential and fit within Corporate Development's investment philosophy.
  • Work collaboratively within Emerging Businesses, and in support of ASI's Line of Businesses, to provide actionable market intelligence (e.g., industry, customers, competitors) and internal business intelligence (e.g., economic levers, performance trends, gaps vs. opportunities) in support of all new business opportunities.
  • Forge and maintain relationships with key strategic players in the ASI ecosystem, to maintain a financial acumen/presence in all corporate development initiatives.
  • Undergraduate Degree, in Business or Economics preferred.
  • 3 years of job related experience.
  • Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in creating both operating models and financial models for early-stage business and new business ventures.
  • Structured analytical thinker with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, including building strategic and solid partnerships.
  • Ability to build outstanding partner relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across the enterprise in an extremely complex organization.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to go the extra mile.
  • Flexibility and ability to work fast under tight deadlines with demanding quality requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and business partners at all levels and in a manner that supports ASI's mission and strategic position in the marketplace.
