Principal Associate, FP&A Central Finance
The Principal Associate role on the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Central Finance Team will be responsible for the Stress Testing Volumes, Revenues, and Expense Forecasting process for the Card line of business.
The Principal Associate will provide financial support, including running the Stress Test short term and long term forecast processes, developing methodologies and processes that provide transparency of forecasts and forecast drivers, and analyzing financial results to identify and address evolving business issues and opportunities.
Role requires strong financial analysis, problem solving, teamwork and influencing skills.
General Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and Profit & Loss (P&L) management, including updating/running forecast models, enhancing model methodologies, and executing controls
- Financial analysis and reporting: Accurately analyze and explain key forecast drivers, and variances, suggest actions to the business, and manage the regular forecasting and reporting processes
- Executive business presentations: Assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences; clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teams
- Ad-hoc requests and special projects
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis
- At least 2 years of experience with financial modeling
- At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling
- At least 1 year of experience with Python
