Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for our Respiratory Therapy department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist you will:
• Provide respiratory care services by the application of the clinical process in assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating.
• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Adult RRT be able to work independently, manage high-risk critical care of patients in all areas to include ICU/CCU.

Qualifications include:
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (NBRC) license required
• Active Maryland State RRT license required
• Minimum 2 years acute care experience required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Active American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• ACCS advanced certification is a plus

Work Schedule:

Per Diem scheduled as needed for coverage.

Employees need to meet the minimum requirement of 24 hours/month or 36 hours per a 6-week calendar schedule.
