SECURITY CONSULTANT

Security Consultant w/ ControlCase, LLC in Fairfax, VA. Perform IT security assessments & audits for organizations in the Payment Industry as per security audit standards defined by Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. Position reqs a Bach deg (US or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci, Info Tech, Electronics Engg or rel & 5 yrs of exp in the job offered or in a rel role. Must have 5 yrs of exp w/: network security testing & vulnerability assessments; Assessing & performing configuration reviews of the following technologies/platforms: Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortigate, WatchGuard, SonicWALL), Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, IDS/IPS, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Unix Servers, IBM Mainframe Z Systems, VMware, & Oracle & SQL database; App Security; logging & monitoring, SIEM log review; & reviewing vulnerability assessment & penetration test reports. Must have 3 yrs of exp w/: cybersecurity standard-based assessments, incl PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HITRUST, HIPAA, & AUP/SCA; cybersecurity assessments for cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, & Google; review of encryption & key mgmt technologies; Risk Assessment, Risk mgmt, Risk treatment, & Control implementation; conducting security awareness trainings; assessing cloud-based services w/in the various cloud environments such as AWS, Azure & GCP; & preparing compliance reports.
