Adventist HealthCare seeks a System Director of Corporate Real Estate who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As the Director of Corporate Real Estate , you will:
Be responsible for establishing and implementing best-in-class real estate policies, strategies and practices to support the Company's existing real estate portfolio along with the organization's growth initiatives. The System Director of Corporate Real Estate leads the team responsible for managing all of the Company's existing real estate transactions, leased or owned, including clinical locations and administrative offices.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Develop positive, interactive relationships across all business within the

portfolio management strategy, managing and tracking of all leasing and
subleasing of all Adventist HealthCare space.
• Partner and engage with business units to implement system wide policies,
procedures and goals to deliver high value real estate strategy.
• Lead the strategic analysis involved in all possible transactional activities in
including, but not limited to; site evaluation, asset acquisition/dispositions,
and lease negotiations.
• Manage all third-party consultants/advisors and brokerage relationships
involved in real estate transactions and process.
• Collaborate with VP Chief Property Officer in developing a first class, positive,
results-oriented work culture regarded by peers and stakeholders as innovative
and demonstrative of the organization's core values.
• Improve leased and owned building asset management processes, standards,
metrics and reporting by leveraging benchmarking and industry best practices.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to Real Estate staff (lease administration and
property management), including ongoing coaching, guidance, training, problem
resolution, performance evaluation and development to the corporate real
estate team.
• Actively lead and support a positive, proactive, results-oriented work culture that is regarded by peers and stakeholders as innovative and demonstrative of the organization's core.


• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fifteen (15) plus years of tenant leasing and property management with ten 10)
plus progressive experience in HealthCare Real Estate.
• Ability to understand and negotiate complex real estate transactions, including
leases, purchase and sale agreements and development agreements.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience building and leading cross-functional
• Excellent interpersonal communications as well as analytical and problem-
solving skills.
