Master Node Engineer

We are seeking Software Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies to join our team. Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge on developing, implementing and supporting solutions using features of Node, React, Angular, Java and Amazon cloud services
  • Uncanny ability to challenge the status quo and understand full scope of application architecture and design
  • Ensure implementation of development standards processes by way of trainings to team and reviews
  • Advice on framework, effort estimations for projects, technical coaching of other team members
  • Responsible for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles
  • Establish the deployment process/standards for the project
  • Participate in the design discussions and development activity along with Enterprise Architect's and build out use cases following best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors, and other engineering team, solving complex business problems together

  • Serious technical street cred if you have a robust portfolio on GitHub and/or Open Source contributions of which you are proud to share!
  • Discerning: You understand the importance of selecting the right technology tool for the task

  • Automation Expert: You know what continuous integration means, and believe automation is the path to happiness. You know how to script and automate anything and everything, from tests to environment provisioning
  • Problem Solver: You are a natural problem solver with a curiosity about technology. Others describe you as a highly creative and curious technologist, one with excellent research skills
  • You're not intimidated by challenges, even thriving in an unstructured environment where you're empowered to make a difference. In that context, you will be expected to. research and develop cutting-edge technologies, to accomplish your challenge, should you choose to accept
  • You love learning new technologies and mentoring team engineers


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, TypeScript, React, or Vue)
  • At least 3 years of experience in NodeJS
  • At least 1 year of experience with a Public Cloud platform including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud (GCP)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • 6+ years of experience in software development
  • 2+ years of experience working with Microservices architecture
  • 2+ years of RESTful Web Services experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Nodejs
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS
  • 1+ years of people management experience
