Clinical Embryology

A clinical embryology position is available for a highly motivated, detail- and team-oriented individual with the ART Institute of Washington, located at the Walter Reed in Bethesda, MD.  The ideal candidate would be a fully trained clinical embryologist with a proven track record in IVF.  However, the position would also be a wonderful opportunity for a person with a minimum of two years’ experience that has the desire to rapidly advance his or her skill set.  Basic embryology and andrology skills are necessary.  The right candidate will be trained in all aspects of micromanipulation as well as oocyte and embryo vitrification.

The current work environment is very congenial and the potential candidate would be required to work closely with the Fertility Center’s patients, embryology/andrology lab staff, IVF nursing, medical staff and other military personnel in the department.  Position requires some weekend and Holiday coverage.  Must be fluent in English and be a natural born or naturalized US citizen, and be able to obtain base clearance according to Homeland Security Naval Base criteria.  Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in biology or related sciences.  EOE.
