Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our Inpatient department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) you will:
• Assist in providing rehabilitation services for the patients suffering from physical, mental, development problems either congenital or accidental, surgery, etc.
• Monitor the patients and understand their health issues and requirements and make sure that they are provided the necessary support.
• Help patients in working through the rehabilitative exercises and treatments as suggested by the occupational therapists.
• Maintain and order equipment's used in the process of treatment and give regular progress report to the doctors.
• Document the progress report of the patients and make necessary changes in the treatment process as suggested by the doctor.

Qualified Candidates will possess:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's degree from accredited COTA program required
• Site-specific experience preferred (minimum of 1 site-specific clinical affiliation required)
• Licensed COTA in the State of Maryland
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Work Schedule:

Per diem as needed for coverage. Minimum requirement is 2 weekend days per month or 5 week days per month.

Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing.
