Job Summary/Company: Our a client, an advocacy organization dedicated to expanding economic opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community, is searching for a motivated Director, Programs and Advocacy to join its team. This person will be responsible for developing and delivering select partnership programs and grants established with various private and public sector partners. Qualified candidates will bring at least three years of business development experience, ideally from a nonprofit setting. If you are interested, please apply.


• Oversee the activities relating to the company's industry councils and special educational programs, including developing funding proposals, and assisting with reporting

• Draft, update, and issue partnership proposals for special programs and initiatives

• Provide high-level customer service to company stakeholders

• Communicate opportunities, news, and program updates to stakeholder audiences and in the cultivation of business relationships

• Research opportunities for engagement of prospective partners, companies, and industries

• Contribute to and/or lead special projects as requested

• Flexibility for domestic travel including representing the company at supplier diversity/business conferences, roundtables, and programs nationwide

• Maintain strong relationships across the company's stakeholder groups and report directly to members of organization's Executive Team
Qualifications/Background Profile:

• B.A./ B.S. degree required

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a professional office environment in a client relationship or business development/sales field

• Previous experience in proposal development and grant writing/reporting required

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint

• Project management and organizational skills; must be able to manage, monitor, and track numerous activities
