RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Learning Systems Analyst in Owings Mills, MD.Key Tasks:Business and Technical Requirements Documentation, Analysis, Evaluation: Responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, technical requirements, use cases and data conversion requirements while working as a project team member Analyze documented business and data requirements, workflow processes, gaps, and process improvements Develop business model documentation, specifications, diagrams, flowcharts, and data workflows Translate business requirements to technical and functional system requirements Develop training/user documentation; Work with LMS administrator to create System Administration GuideBusiness Analysis and Evaluation: Research, interrelate & review business processes (effectiveness, efficiency) and recommend improvements Research, analyze, and recommend new learning technology tools and resources; Provide advice regarding LMS functionality to address business needs Evaluating business processes, rules or policies for efficiency, cost, and other metrics to enhance workflows Communicate insights with business teams and key stakeholders; Liaison between business stakeholders Help implement business solutions and manage changes and communication Improve training and operational procedures to increase productivityRelease management and UAT: Analyze, evaluate, and test System functionality Trace, verify, and validate requirements to deployed system to ensure all the requirements are met Create test scripts for functional and user acceptance testing and serve as liaison to business during UAT Responsible for LMS release management, validation and testing in collaboration with LMS AdministratorData Analysis: Provide data analysis for integration requirements, reporting needs, and other functions Use a variety of data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insightsREQUIREMENTS: 4-year college degree or equivalent; Preferred experience or a combination or experience and education 3 years in a Business Analyst role (ideally as a Software or System focused analyst) 2 years of relevant industry experience in performing business data analysis Experience processing, filtering ad presenting insights around large data sets in Excel Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) Advanced level of skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Visio and Advanced Excel and Pivot table skills Solid understanding of business processes and data flows Research, interrelate & review business processes (effectiveness, efficiency) and recommend improvements Help implement business solutions and manage changes and communication Proactive and action oriented, detailed, ability to manage projects and priorities Ability to communicate business decisions and impact on strategy to leadership Passion for finding technical solutions, streamlining operations and automation Communicate clearly and with impact in writing, presentations, and speakingPreferred: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field Experience creating dashboards in a BI framework such as PowerBI, Tableau, SAP Business Intelligence, MicroStrategy, Looker, Google Data Studio, Datapine, or comparable tools Desire to Learn Basic SQL proficiency Experience with the following LMS platforms: Totara and Moodle Experience with LMS or other IT systems Migrations Prior system implementation with outside data integrationsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
