As a Senior Systems Support Analyst, you will write and use queries, develop automation and analytics tools, and create reports and visualize processes. You will document processes and create and implement dashboards to present spending and utilization reports for senior management's review. You will fill a key role by preparing budget information, analysis and reporting, identifying and escalating issues. You will create collection tools and presentation materials that provide visibility on operating spending and resource utilization. You will interact with internal and external staff when collecting data and gain satisfaction from providing usable information and collection tools that increase collaboration throughout our department. The ideal candidate is competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel, Visio, queries, accounting and record keeping systems.

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields. A minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in design information processing, program development, analysis and implementation experience in a large public or private organization.
  • Experience in lieu of education will be considered if candidate can effectively demonstrate progressively responsible experience in design information processing, program development, analysis and implementation experience in a large public or private organization.

This is a senior level professional computer application support and analysis position involving data management and evaluation, requirement analysis, and implementation of real-time information and reporting systems. The incumbent in this position performs advanced technical work in the development, maintenance, and support of the database applications in various platforms. The incumbent must have proficiency in database management theory and Structured Query Language to implement effective risk and cost control and monitoring of capital improvement and reimbursable projects. The incumbent will also serve as the lead facilitator in complex technical environments and will be required to manage critical control applications and information systems. Employee has considerable latitude for independent judgment and action within broadly stated guidelines.

  • Acquires data and develops tools to facilitate all aspects of project control such as project costing, purchasing and contracting, labor expenses, payment requisitions, deliverables, as well as budget and cost transactions.
  • Formulates statistical data to device tracking systems for Capital Project performance. Employs software development techniques and 4th Generation languages and report generators to develop applications.
  • Updates and maintains Asset Inventory Database used as the foundation for Infrastructural Renewal Program on a quarterly basis.
  • Reviews, analyzes and interprets operational information requirements, administers program to address system requirements, and implements solutions to accomplish data resource needs. Determines and recommends improvements to hardware and software systems to enhance program management information system.
  • Provides programming expertise in the languages of Visual DBase and Delphi to generate custom office applications and to develop interactive information support for management decision-making.
  • Manages program plans, budget activities, and labor job numbers.
  • Creates and modifies PeopleSoft queries to retrieve information, produce reports and conduct analyses. Integrates data acquisition with Ad Hoc Microsoft applications for use in planning, trend analysis, strategy formulation, and information tracking and reporting.
  • Creates MEAD's, Infrastructure Renewal Progress Reports and managerial tools to facilitate program management tasks.
  • Conducts reviews and evaluates whether proper information dissemination and procedural controls have been observed. Verifies accuracy and integrity of project information and input and output of applications. Develops and amends written procedures to facilitate management objectives.
  • Serves as liaison between project managers, accounting, procurement, and other Authority offices in matters and activities related to database information management for effective project management and tool development.
