Summary

As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will serve as a member of the leadership team in the Supervision System and Analytical Support (SSAS) business unit providing management and oversight for the Data Stewardship team in the Supervision Support Division. Responsibility includes oversight of data stewardship and operational data management activities supporting data collection, provisioning, and governance of data assets in support of supervisory business units.

As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will:
  • Provide advice and recommendations to the SSAS Division Director and Senior Leaders on OCC Supervision needs relative to data activities supporting information systems planning, design, development and implementation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of bank supervision processes and stay abreast of examination policy directives to ensure application and governance of data management and standards. Manages relationship and collaboration activities with supervision business unit stakeholders and other data consumers.
  • Plan, organize and oversee implementation of data activities supporting applications, systems, data, and analytical initiatives. Provide direct management and oversight to requirements elaboration activities, testing and implementation of business requirements in support of the enterprise and disparate data assets and products.
  • Collaborate with the Director and other SSAS supervisors, as a management team, to develop business unit and project strategies, budgets, operating plans, timelines and communications based on an understanding of supervisory processes, data, analytics and Agency need for information and process support.
  • Provide administrative and technical direction to subordinate staff. Lead, motivate, and develop the staff, and plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and review their work; monitor the progress of assignments, evaluate training/developmental needs.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

• Oversight and managing of data, applications, and systems for an organization; AND
• Managing of data stewardship, operational data activities and data processes including data collection, provisioning, quality assurance and structure to accomplish the organizations objectives.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

  • This position is a Step 2 level position within the NB-VI pay band. Step 2 level positions are distinguished by additional job complexity, responsibility, and advanced skill levels required by the work.
  • Salary range includes 22.26% geographical pay.
