Sentrillion is seeking to hire a MID-Level Full Stack JAVA Developer in the Northern VA Area. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Junior Full Stack JAVA Developer-MID Level will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real time systems, exercise judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints, participate in and/or direct major deliverable of projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. Specific responsibilities include: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and support ability and effectiveness analyzes Must be a self-starter, strong leader, and have the ability to work independently with little supervision. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: 8 years' experience software development environment BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Knowledge of software design patterns. Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (eg, Jira) Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint). Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices Experience with DevOps frameworks Preferred Qualification: Active CBP BI Experience with CBP Experience on AWS, CI/CD, SecDevOps is a plus CBPOIT ABILITIES REQUIRED: Ability to assume increasing responsibilities in Full Stack JAVA Development project information system design and management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse teams, product owners, and subject matter experts Ability to stay abreast of new methods, technology, and trends that impact user experience research and design practices. Ability to obtain and maintain CBP-BI. In order to obtain this Government Security Clearance, US Citizenship is required.
